Control strategies for physically simulated characters performing two-player competitive sports

چکیده
In two-player competitive sports, such as boxing and fencing , athletes often demonstrate efficient tactical movements during a competition. this paper, we develop learning framework that generates control policies for physically simulated who have many degrees-of-freedom. Our uses two step-approach, basic skills bout-level strategies, with deep reinforcement learning, which is inspired by the way people how to learn sports. We policy model based on an encoder-decoder structure incorporates autoregressive latent variable, mixture-of-experts decoder. To show effectiveness of our framework, implemented learned can generate both natural-looking behaviors. also evaluate comparisons other configurations ablation studies.

Rising Motion Controllers for Physically Simulated Characters
The control of physics-based simulated characters is an important open problem with potential applications in film, games, robotics, and biomechanics. While many methods have been developed for locomotion and quiescent stance, the problem of returning to a standing posture from a sitting or fallen posture has received much less attention. In this thesis, we develop controllers for biped sit-to-...
متن کاملModeling Physically Simulated Characters with Motion Networks
We present a system that allows non-programmers to create generic controllers for physically simulated characters. The core of our system is based on a directed acyclic graph of trajectory transformations, which can be modified by feedback terms and serve as reference motions tracked by the physically simulated character. We then introduce tools to enable the automatic creation of robust and pa...
متن کاملControl of Complex, Physically Simulated Robot Groups
Actuated systems such as robots take many forms and sizes but each requires solving the difficult task of utilizing available control inputs to accomplish desired system performance. Coordinated groups of robots provide the opportunity to accomplish more complex tasks, to adapt to changing environmental conditions, and to survive individual failures. Similarly, groups of simulated robots, repre...
متن کاملInteractive Physically-Based Control of Skeleton-Driven Deformable Characters
We present an intuitive way to create dynamic motions for physically simulated, skeleton-driven deformable characters. The motion of the character is guided by the user interactively through Cartesian space control and a combination of setpoint selection. To make direct manipulation of a physically simulated character intuitive, we present a novel approach to Cartesian space control, in which t...
متن کاملAdditional Winning Strategies in Two-Player Games
We study the problem of checking whether a two-player reachability game admits more than a winning strategy. We investigate this in case of perfect and imperfect information, and, by means of an automata approach we provide a linear-time procedure and an exponential-time procedure, respectively. In both cases, the results are tight.
